Origin
In a small town in Tamil Nadu, our family began stone-grinding spices and milling flour the way everyone used to — by hand, in small batches, with ingredients sourced from farms we could actually visit. That was 1935.
Three generations later, not much has changed — except now we ship to your door.
Philosophy
We believe the best food starts with the best ingredients, and the best ingredients don’t need additives. Our flours are milled fresh after you order. Our spices are ground from single-origin sourced produce. There’s no warehouse full of ageing stock. There’s just a kitchen that’s been running for 90 years.
The “Oddinary” Difference
We called ourselves Oddinary because what we do shouldn’t be unusual — it should be ordinary.
Pure ingredients, honest labelling, fresh production. But in a world of mass-manufactured masalas and preservative-loaded flours, being real has become the odd one out. We’re okay with that.
Every Oddinary product is made in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu — a town known for its craftsmen. We source from local farmers, grind in small batches, and package only after your order is placed. No middlemen. No shortcuts.
